Agnostic, you might want to use FreePIE for mouse emulation in that case as this is it’s native functionality.
Congratulations for the mini Loxai!
Unfortunately I can’t test because of some PC related issues, heck I was even 90% through a major demo exclusive to the Gyre. Hopefully will get things fixed soon and get back to development. Old screenshot
Btw, does more compatibility mean openGL support?
Polylogic, that’s for developing vr mobile apps, it’s unrelated to reading tracking data from PC.
Although most of VR and geeks community are against iOS, it might attract some users.
Try searching through documents for saved user files by the Trinus Gyre, and delete them.
I think he means processing the fake 3D from app’s side not client side.
It’s possible to emulate the Rift’s input but you’re most likely going to face licencing issues + reverse engineering the byte structure sent over serial ports is close to impossible without the existing source code.

Working perfectly for me. I’ve been running the very first developer preview, the last one, the AOSP builds, and the factory version, and it worked on every single one.
You seem to be unfamiliar to a certain extent with Unity’s scripting, which is not your best option when you’re approaching something like this.
The examples in the IO page are for c#, more specifically the 1 that lets you read from a slot. what you have to do is understand it and apply the data obtained from it on unity objects. I don’t really have any experience with unity’s workflow, but I’m familiar with c#.
I’m sure you’d get better help by asking on unity’s forums/helpdesk.
Here’s a c#implementation example from FreePIE’s page: https://github.com/AndersMalmgren/FreePIE/wiki/IO-Plugin
Oh no that thread is old, Haven’t updated it yet.
Use the one in this post, and just select FreePIEIO from sensor settings. You don’t have to change other sensor settings.
Are you sure you have FreePIE installed and is in it’s original install directory?
Both TG and my script use the directory in the registry to read/write tracking data.
There were some complaints about Google drive corrupting zip files, so here’s a mediafire download: http://www.mediafire.com/?6sam2vq088q14jo
This one is a bit different than the last release, as it doesn’t require FreePIE to be running, much thanks for the IO protocol!
OpenGL support in windowed mode A for low latency would make it perfect. 😀
I can help you with FreePIE integration, which language will you be using? It’s already really easy to integrate until you get to the stage where you get to use the obtained data by swapping axis’and converting degrees to radians.. etc.
