    I Finally bought it, with joy2key for reseting position I can play Assetto/PCars without Drift

    I have been 2 hours with this problem !!!!! I was becoming crazy !!!!!
    I hope NVidia 381.89 Drivers fixes it !!!

    It works for me perfectly with 2.0

    If you hace 1.5, you can’t play in the PS4, isn’t it ?
    The people I know they are using it, they are also using it in the PS4, so they must have version 2.0

    If some people are having issues with the HDM updated to 2.0, I guess the problem must be something else, not the firmware version.

    I didn’t have so much fun testing a Beta in years !!!!!!

    If someone is gonna test the positional tracking, be sure to clean the lens of your webcam, since dirty can make glares, and that makes Trinus trackig become crazy.
    Then be sure that there are no light in sight of the webcam !!!!

    After that, the positional tracking seems promising !!!!

    Suporting Oculus extended mode would be easy for Loxai.

    The display is like PSVR, just an extended display in windows, and for the traking supports Oculus SDK 0.5 API.

    I guess the problem is that Loxai doesn’t have a DK2 to test

    I didn’t see the web for buying it. Good price.
    How is the Licence tied to your computer ? What happens if you reinstall windows ?
    Do you plan to release the App on Steam ?

    And do you plan to support 90Hz and 120Hz modes ?

    That would be really nice.

    I stopped using trinus because of the drift, I had to recalibrate with a button too often, and that breaks the inmersion.

    The vertical axis gets recalibrated if the phone has both gyros and accelerometers, I believe …

    With TrackIR or FreeTrack protocols, there is also drifting, because the gyroscopes have some error.

    With oculus you have a camera in front of you, and some U/V lights in the HMD, to recalibrate the drifting.

    There is no way to avoid drifting without aditional hardware at the moment.

    The vertical axis is a little diferent, since the phone can recalibrate itself thanks to gravity, but you’ll still have the same problem with the horizontal axis.

    The osvr example is not the same, if you look at the OSVR page, they mean that if you make games with the OSVR SDK, they can work with Oculus Hardware, bout you have to compile your game with oculus in Mind. That’s easy because the Oculus SDK is also opensource.

    I don’t mean that it’s not posible to do what you want, just that it is extreemly dificult, and requires lots of time and skills in reverse engineering. You can take a look at this topic:

    LENS CALIBRATE
    You can choose keys to the lens calibrate/more/less/reset actions by clicking the button and then pressing preferred key. Once Trinus Gyre is running, you can use these to adjust the barrel distortion and make it match your headset lens (Cardboard, Durovis, ColorCross, etc. they all have different lenses). Resetting will revert back to default values.

    Barrel distorsion is not the same that the “Lens correction” option in the Android App ? It’s available for Fake and Real 3D.
