The vanishing of ethan carter
device: nexus 4
game resolution: 720 x 480
connection: usb tethering
avg framerates: 30-40 fps
pretty playable except for the pixelated image.
[EDIT] Hi AndrewFX, if you dont mind me asking, what phone are you using?
scratch that, just saw your post on top :P.
The LG Optimus G does have the same spec as the Nexus 4 (almost) so i am incline to believe that perhaps device hardware might have something to do with the lag.
If you are using the google cardboard setup, try removing the magnet.

Thanks for the quick reply lox. i can use usb tethering to connect my pc to the internet via my nexus, if it means anything.
Well there’s two IP available for USB Tethering:
sadly, both are not working 🙁
Strangely, i got this IP address for both home and work (192.168.42.***)
btw, im using nexus 4 @ 4.4.4 / windows 7 32(office) 64(home)
Having the same problem with usb tethering. The error i got was this:
Work and home testing produce the same issue altho wifi connection works but latency is horrible. Phone has no issue of being locked by the service provider.
Having paid for the app and hoping that USB tethering might improve connection – it is a bit frustrating that these issues occurred.
loxai, if u need help with the testing, i think some of us here have no problem lending a hand. just howler
