You might have a problem then if you can’t use another DVI or Display port on your video card. You will need to use a monitor attached to a different port (DVI/VGA, etc), then plug the PSVR Control box to the HDMI port. If the drivers work you should see the PSVR Control Box in the Device Manager, along with the extra display shown in Display Preferences.

Nvidia or AMD? I have an AMD card and I am able to put in a custom resolution with 90 Hz in the Caralyst Control Panel. I believe it’s working because I can easily tell that flicker is gone against white scenes once I use that custom resolution.

You should also be using 2 video inputs on your video card. Your monitor should be on a separate HDMI, etc so you can have it set to 60 Hz. Then plug your PSVR Control box into a separate HDMI, so that you get it to show as a separate monitor and can use a different refresh rate.

I think I figured it out. Something lost in translation is that you need to use 2 HDMI/DVI ports on your video card (if not using a laptop). 1 for your normal monitor (or TV in my case) and the other for the PSVR control unit. What I was doing was using the “To TV” HDMI on the PSVR Control Unit to power my normal TV Monitor. This was causing all sorts of issues once you start Trinus in “VR” mode because the resolution is jacked up on the TV monitor and its impossible then to try and set Steam VR up. I’m guessing that there’s others like me who didn’t get the idea that if not using a laptop, you must use a 2nd display attached to your video card. Hope this helps someone. Time to try this thing out (finally).

Ok… so I’m not mad then… it just doesn’t work. It never comes up as a detected 2nd display. The driver was installed and when I plug it in, it shows under device manager as “PS VR Control” but the other 3 devices for “PS VR 3D Audio”, “PS VR H.264”, and “PS VR BulkIn” are all listed under “Other Devices” and have the yellow triangle with an exclamation point. When viewing those it says “The Drivers for this device are not installed”.

Is there a way to manually set the drivers for those? I think I’m stuck because I’ve tried every USB 3.0 and 2.0 port but it never shows up as a display.
