I cannot get 120hz from all of the versions except 0.92, Once I open it told me 0.92 outdated, So I have to update to 0.98, as I tried months ago, 0.98 cannot show me the 120hz, I have one hdmi headless 120hz adapter and works fine with 0.92.
How can I do?August 17, 2018 at 9:54 pm #7841did you try the new SteamVR start modes (eg. ghost fix)?
August 18, 2018 at 2:24 am #7842Yes, I tried, I got the max 66hz with heavy ghost when I quick turn my head left or right.
I really don’t care some new features just like position/head track or something else, the stable 120hz and the functional nolovr are my biggest concern.
Any possibility for me to get the 0.92 back?August 21, 2018 at 1:53 am #7853wdnnl
I have the exact same issue as you. Been using 0.92 for months and it works great. Just which we could use it again. This low FPS is making nauseous and rendering Trinus useless for me at the moment. It’s a shame because it’s such a good program. Hope the developer gives us the ability to go back to 0.92. If not looks like I’ll have to find new HMD.
August 21, 2018 at 8:17 pm #7854I’ll look into it next week
August 21, 2018 at 9:11 pm #7855Thanks loxai. In the meantime would it be possible to unblock 0.92. Or is that what you meant by I’ll look at it next week.
August 21, 2018 at 11:56 pm #7856I uninstalled Trinus and removed every file I could find that was left over to see if maybe a new fresh install would help. Unfortunately it didn’t and now my license key doesn’t work anymore. When I hit activate the button just gets grayed out, no errors.
August 24, 2018 at 5:33 pm #7862How do you know whether it is outputting at 120hz or not? Do you mean the actual monitor refresh rate orbit the supply of frames from an application.
I’ve struggled with a method for disentangling these.
August 30, 2018 at 4:38 pm #7866Here’s a little patch app to unblock version 0.9.2
https://trinusvirtualreality.com/files/TrinusPSVRPatch.EXEAnd the download link for Trinus PSVR 0.9.2.
To use:
Copy TrinusPSVRPatch to your TrinusPSVR installation folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\TrinusPSVR)
Run TrinusPSVRPatch, then run Trinus PSVR and click Start. It will show the ‘outdated’ message once. Pressing Start again will work as usual. The patch needs to be done every time, so you can use a simple batch file (like https://trinusvirtualreality.com/files/trinus.bat) to start both programs. This the best solution I can provide at the moment.

loxai. Reason: Added 0.9.2 download link
August 30, 2018 at 8:53 pm #7869Xavier – the priority (for me at least) is just being able to test the old version so that’s great, thank you!

August 31, 2018 at 12:23 am #78709.2 has been working flawlessly for me until it got blocked. With this patch and using 9.2 again I’m now having the same issue as with newer version. I’m stuck at 50 FPS. Not sure why it would have worked before and not now since it’s the same version. One thing I did notice is with the fit headless and 9.2 or newer version I only get 50 FPS when I unplug my monitor. With monitor plugged in I get 60 FPS. Monitor is 60hz. This is exactly how I have been running 9.2 in the past with 120 FPS. I have not made any changes or installed any programs since 9.2 worked correctly.
August 31, 2018 at 9:52 pm #7872Hi, unfortunately I couldn’t get the patch to work.
When I click ‘Start’ in Trinus there is no ‘outdated’ message. Is this supposed to appear in the console at the bottom?
Trinus just boots up the headset as normal, the patch window disappears after a while and I have no way of knowing whether the patch has worked.
I tried re-installing Trinus, including removing the config data in AppData/Local but it made no difference.
Thanks.
