Working on getting it to work well with FarCry 4. Can’t find a good link to download Vireio, dunno if that would help even but I think it’s a utility? idk. Will be tinkering with it today, though knowing that Skyrim works with it makes me want to try that instead. lol Will any usb cord work with usb 3.0? Or do I have to order a “faster” cord? I have an extension as well as 3.0 on my pc working with a note 3 phone so should be good to go for tethering. Thanks for any tips. Lox, keep up the good work. 😀

some games work better than others, you might want to try lowering the resolution for a smoother experience (I assume you keep enhanced motion on).
I got some interesting feedback from a user today stating that he quickly got sick with DK2, but could play with Trinus Gyre without issue (other than the uncomfortable Cardboard)… which is nice…January 4, 2015 at 5:04 pm #1875
It may be a bit much to ask, but any way to get any kind of tracking to work with slender man the arrival? Seems like it would be real fun to play. On that note, I downloaded some OR (boo to the overpriced overloards) demos. I guess they work with DK1 and DK2 programming (tracking?), but Trinus Gyre isn’t compatible with it? By that I mean, no tracking. You can see the games but will DK1 and DK2 tracking only work with Oculus rift? We need a workaround. 😀 If you could tap into that, would be like them producing content specifically for your program. 😀 Anyways having a blast will probably drop the money on full program my next check. Keep up the good work Lox.

Indeed, Oculus Rift tracking protocol cannot be emulated. The only option is for game developers to be aware of the alternative and develop games that support other headtracking formats. Trinus Gyre can use many protocols, so they only have to choose their favourite: either integrating with the new library (the ideal solution) or using TrackIR, FreeTrack, FreePieIO…
So, in brief, the best workaround is to make Trinus Gyre widespread and ask (you and your friends) the developers to include support for it.January 7, 2015 at 2:10 pm #1899
I refuse to believe that OR cannot be emulated or utilized in some way. No offense to you, will all respect but I believe that everything electronic can be knocked off, or emulated or back doored’ some how. Take these guys for example:

The osvr example is not the same, if you look at the OSVR page, they mean that if you make games with the OSVR SDK, they can work with Oculus Hardware, bout you have to compile your game with oculus in Mind. That’s easy because the Oculus SDK is also opensource.
I don’t mean that it’s not posible to do what you want, just that it is extreemly dificult, and requires lots of time and skills in reverse engineering. You can take a look at this topic:January 7, 2015 at 2:31 pm #1901cercataParticipant

I’ve had success running games with Tridef and Trinus Gyre. So far I have:
– Tridef > Bioshock 1 (Had to force dx9 for tridef)
– Tridef > Portal
– Tridef > Borderlands
– Tridef > Batman Arkham city
Honestly, if you can get the game running in tridef, I think It’ll work with Trinus gyre.
– Native sbs > Janus VR. Janus is a 3D webbrowser, where the pages are rooms that you walk into. It has great potential and is very cool. You guys should try it out. I investigated that option a good while ago and it seems Nvidia removed the SBS option (only leaving 3D monitor/glasses alternatives) but would be great if you find some way to make it work, surely many people would use it
