I have been working on updating the Trinus lib to be Unity compatible. Get the early version from here: http://trinusvr.com/survival-shooter-for-trinusvr. And if you end up making some cool VR project with Trinus, do share! 🙂

Hi, what about new version of Trinus lib for Unity3D? 🙂January 23, 2016 at 8:26 pm #4737
I’ve been updating it now and then. It is currently pending Unity Asset Store approval (which will allow getting notifications when there’s something new).
Have you been developing any project with it? Share some details! 🙂January 24, 2016 at 11:04 am #4740
I am working on system with two or more wireless HMDs with stereocameras. With AR and VR mixing.
Will your Trinus lib for Unity3D will be paid?January 24, 2016 at 8:21 pm #4750
The lib will be free and available for anyone as long as it is for a publicly available project (free or paid, but accessible to anyone). For a private project (ie. business use), you would need to contact me for permission.January 27, 2016 at 6:56 pm #4771
I tried the Survival Shooter inside Unity and it was a great success. I am very glad with that.
One more time I have to stick with Unity over Unreal for similar reason…
I will right now start throwing things at Unity and as soon as I do I will share here the results.
From what I have tested so far I think this “cheap vr” solution is very promissing. I bought one LG G3 specially for it and resolution and speed is very good indeed.

The plugin is finally out in the store!
Keep me posted on progress and use the developers thread for questions, suggestions and bug reporting.February 11, 2016 at 8:43 pm #4904
I just got Trinus, PC VR for Unity from asset store.
Are there any pre-requires? dependencies ?
I cant make it connected in auto mode or even I enter the ip manually.
But your executable demo is working in both auto and manual ip mode, pcserver version is also working well will all apps.
Only the built unity project with demo scene is not working.
I can see that you exe demos data folder has some extra folder called GI.February 12, 2016 at 2:37 am #4907
Do you get any error on the console? You can also press L while debugging to get extra Trinus log info.February 12, 2016 at 8:47 am #4909
I think you are doing the same mistake like me and not using the TrinusUI prefab. Well it is not the real mistake. The mistake you are doing is probably not really starting trinus process. It is starting in paused mode. In my Unity prototype I used a keypress to start the trinus process. It takes like a second but then your phone should start automatically.
I am doing it while the game is on, phone in the same wireless network and Trinus App is up and running with violet triangle.
My starting script. Put it on any object http://hastebin.com/ozefovifoh.py

New version ready to submit!
This has much better UI, camera management, updated quick guide and is only the trinusLib part (no sample project). This should make usage even easier than before.
Get it here: http://trinusvr.com/server/trinus.unitypackage
Show me your work guys! 🙂February 20, 2016 at 5:36 am #4938

Xavier, first of all, thank you so much for your cool Trinus lib for Unity3D.
It She inspired me to study unity3d and I really like it.
But there is no updates for it for a long time.
Are you preparing something big?
Maybe it is sound transmission? GPU usage? Spatial positioning? 🙂

There was an update just this week, although no major changes.
Would like to add the features you mention, but it is going to take a while 🙂
