I wanna start by saying how excited I am about Trinus. This has been the single app that has made owning an HMD worth while.
Having said that….I’m having a few small issues. First, my mouse is wrong when looking at full screen apps in 1024×768 resolution. I have to make the windows about 20% smaller in width before the cursor behaves correctly. The cursor appears on the Trinus app on my phone to be about 2 inches to the right of where it shows on the monitor of my computer. Happens with anything full screen, everything has to be trimmed in width to be able to click on anything.
Also, I keep getting errors when starting my server that “current resolution is inadequate and will cause image distortion” and suggests using a 4:3 or 8:9 resolution even though I already am. I’m guessing these are probably related. I’ve gone through just about every resolution my computer has, but still getting the error and weird cursor offset.
Current error log is attached below, it seems to say I’m in 1280×768 but I promise I’m not!

The first problem seems to be related to Windows scaling, you should be able to fix it by right clicking on the app icon and change the “Disable dpi scaling” option (details at trinusvr.com). Or maybe you have changed the scaling options in Trinus advanced mode?
As for the second issue, it is referring to the Trinus window itself, which is wide (not 4:3 or 8:9). Once you switch to the window you want (e.g. the one at 1024×768) the error should no longer appear.
You can set Fake3D to auto and the message won’t show in any case.August 24, 2015 at 3:14 am #3851
Oh, I see. I didn’t realize the error was window-specific.
Also, I tried compatibility mode for Windows 7 and disabling DPI like you suggested, but that had no effect. Going from your theory that it’s something with the zoom settings, I tried border cropping the left side and it worked! The cursor is now in the same spot on my phone and my computer…..but now I’m not able to see a large portion of my screen.August 26, 2015 at 1:18 am #3857
