Hi, in response to people asking Nolo VR they have alluded to there possibly being Trinus support down the line. I just wondered if there was any official word from oddsheep and what other users thought of the product as an alternative to say psmoveserive and freepie.
Hate to bump my own thread like this but I’m sure others want to know too now most backers orders have shipped, will support for nolo launch along with their software for release or come after launch? Thanks again.
I received my NoloVR two days ago. Not had time to really test them because of load of works.
I just installed nolo software 0.4 and launched belong Trinuspsvr.
Controllers appear and work well in SteamVR. Headtrack not, of course because Trinus don’t use it at this time.
Only problem : hdm and controllers are not aligned. Need to calibrate but have no time to try more.
Tracking was very good with no noticeable lag.
Can’t wait for official Trinus update with nolo support ! 😊
So, i could also see that, at this state, PSVR and NoloVR Base Station have the same coordinates in space (0,0,0).
You can’t offset one or the other even via SteamVR Room Setup.
(only PSVR Height can be offset in fact)
Impossible to use them together like this : your hands are on your back…
Finally received mine yesterday. It’s been trial and error but seemed to improve today. Any tips with calibrating head and controller location? Had issues with head position in Elite Dangerous while in the pilot seat being too tall and too far posterior at times. I ended up just moving the sensor a little closer to myself.
