I have just tried the trial version of TrinusPSVR and I need tell it is amazing but there is a small problem. My monitor max resolution is smaller than what would be optimal for the headset and even though I set the resolution of the headset to 1920×1080 maybe because of the resolution of my primary monitor I can not set the resolution of the games high enough and the screen in the headset is extremely pixelated and causing game breaking problems. For example in Elite Dangerous I can’t read the name of the systems, planets, missions..etc. In Euro Truck Simulator 2 I can not read the road signs. So even though it is an impressive experience the same time I can’t really play some of the games that I would be most interested in.

So, I’m just wondering if there is anything I can try to improve the resolution and text in the headset?

    Thanks in advance.

You should be able to set the game at 1080 regardless of the main monitor resolution (I’d suggest checking game specific forums for advice). Alternatively, you have these options:
    – temporarily set psvr as main monitor
    – increase SteamVR supersampling (SteamVR Settings>Developer>Supersampling). Has performance penalty
    – use the Forward slider in Trinus

I had been suffering for weeks with low res with VR in Elite. It seemed my Track IR and monitor was going to be the preferred option, but no longer.

Make sure VR is on and go to Graphics/Display options and turn up HMD Quality above 1.0. I have mine at 1.75 and it makes a world of difference. This option does not appear when playing standard version. You may have to compensate and turn down quality on some other features to prevent stutter.

I was starting to believe the PSVR was just a POS for PC use. I’m glad I finally figured it out for this game though. Track IR is cool, but VR makes a world of difference for immersion.

    Good luck!
