ParticipantLast trinus version brought much smoother tracking for me (I’m using HTC One M7) – thanks
But for this particular game(Race Driver Grid) trackIR works oddly. When you tilt your head left or right (tilt, not turn) the picture changes not the way it should. It’s like movement is reversed to what it should be.
I haven’t tried original TrackIR system so I don’t know if that’s the game problem, or the problem of Trinus, but that thing realy spoils the experience-

KeymasterHi Nazar,
I will look into that, and possibly add invert options for each axis to better customise the experience.
Out of curiosity: I was only able to run Grid in fullscreen mode (no option in game settings), which doesn’t really work well with Trinus. Were you able to run it windowed? if so, how?Cheers

ParticipantIn a lot of games you can go into the settings and reverse the direction of the headtracking. might be something in your game that corresponds.

ParticipantI’ve played Grid in windowed mode, 800×600 – that’s what I’ve tried
It was windowed mode A, I suppose – didn’t pay attention
Grid worked for me for all along from trying Android Rift Beta – I had no troubles with itSeptember 10, 2014 at 3:39 pm #342Nazar
ParticipantBesides, I was able to run Grid even in side-by-side 3d using TriDef, and stream it with your software
Also there were no troubles streaming through usb nor WiFi-

ParticipantI didn’t find any tweaks for TrackIR in Grids’ settings. And the point is that turning left/right and up/down works great. Something is wrong with tilting. I don’t quite understant positional tracking in terms of yaw/pitch/roll, but it looks for me as one of this axis is reverted (I mean the one responsible for tilt). I may be wrong, but feature with axis reverting should definitly solve the issue
P.s. Thanks for reply anyway)

ParticipantSorry, loxai – didn’t understand the meanind of your question at first)
You should launch a launcher in Grids’ folder – there are all the settings for windowed mode and resolution, not in the game itself-

ParticipantI’ve managed to make trackIR act properly. It appears the roll axis should be inverted. I’ve used freePie Redirect (thanks for the feature by the way) and freePie script for tracking. Maybe it will be of some help. Here is how axises numbers are defined in the script to solve the issue I’ve described earlier:
trackIR.yaw = yaw – centerYaw
trackIR.pitch = pitch – centerPitch
trackIR.roll = -(roll – centerRoll)September 11, 2014 at 4:43 am #360wewewi
Participant@Nazar How did managed to run Grid in side by side using TriDef? Doesnt TriDef requires fullscreen?

ParticipantThere are some Windows Register Tweaks, which make TriDef work for games in windowed mode. I’ve got it here http://www.tridef.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=21603#p21603

http://www.tridef.com/user-guide/supported-gamesEven Rise of Flight works! Head tracking + 3D = LOVE 😉
— Though the headtracking clearly is difting to the left after a couple seconds, the sensation is AMAZING.-

KeymasterThanks Nazar for the windowed tridef trick (and the one for Grid too), that’s pretty cool, I’ll add a reference on the download page.
And well, thanks in general to all of you giving support to each other, makes it easier for me to focus on development 🙂 -
