ParticipantHello everyone,
Just a quick note, I disabled the link here as the phonevr driver is now integrated into TrinusVR which also contain the latest version. If you are looking for it, just download the latest TrinusVR installer and set Sensor Mode to SteamVR.

ParticipantCan anyone please confirm if the steamvr option is still working in Trinus (as of 5th Oct)?
I am reading that a Valve update has broken steamvr in Riftcat Vridge, and I cannot get it running in Trinus – is it just me or is it broken here also? Thanks 🙁

KeymasterIt seems Valve has a bug on the updated driver. They have fixed it on the Beta version.
You can opt in for SteamVR beta version to have it working again (go to Steam library, right click on SteamVR app>Properties>Betas tab)-

Participanthi loxai, I’ve now got The Lab showing up in steamvr, thanks, but the view is badly distorted.
Other games work fine in other sensor modes, but when I switch to steamvr mode & open The Lab, the following happens –
on my desktop, the view is correct, but on the phone, the view is ‘twisted diagonally’ across the screen, if that makes sense.
Is this part of the recent valve bug, or do I still have other trinus settings wrong?
Thanks for any advice.October 6, 2016 at 12:32 am #5984loxai
KeymasterPlease take a screenshot and post it here.
Also, what gpu and Windows version do you have?October 6, 2016 at 2:09 pm #5986tecnomorse
ParticipantThanks for the reply,
The display looks perfectly fine on my computer, it’s the phone side by side view that is completely warped, (I don’t know how to take a screenshot of my phone screen). The phone is an HTC One 801n.
I’m using a Lenovo G50 laptop with Win 10 64, i7-4510u 2Ghz, 8GB Ram, ATI R5 M230 2GB GPU.
I’ve got a broken foot at the moment so I’ve been testing Trinus on the laptop to avoid climbing into my simracing seat lol. But when I can, I will test it on my desktop (i7 4770, ATI R9 Nano, 8 GB Ram, Windows 10 64 bit).I realise my laptop gpu is not the greatest, but since numerous other games seem to work ok (fsx, Legend of Grimrock, Skyrim, Nether, Portal, and others), I’m confused why The Lab/steamvr setting should produce this ‘diagonally stretched’ view on the phone, so I wondered if any other setting might cause it.
Anyway, thanks for the reply, I’m still awaiting delivery of my mobile headset, & I will certainly be purchasing Trinus once I’ve tested it in that, as it looks like I have enough games to enjoy using it even without the Steamvr side of things.
And hopefully steamVR might be more successful once I try it on my game pc.Thanks & Keep up the good work. 🙂

ParticipantCan anyone help me getting steam vr working with Moonlight? I have gotten steam vr working with the FAST mode but I want the smoothness that only moonlight has. What do I launch in moonlight after connection? Ive only tried getting this working with the steam VR tool, I dont have any true steam VR games setup yet, My main goal is to play tf2 with the -vr mode

ParticipantOk I launched trinus and connected, ran room setup in steam vr, then left steam vr running and launched tf2 with -vr and found I had a problem with the tracking jittering like crazy, unusable, no combination of sensor modes abc or jitter filter or drift comp would help. I then used fast mode to connect and it had the same jitter issue. I never had this issue before with mouse tracking mode in trinus, always really good smooth movement. im using a note 3 if it matters.
