    Hi guys,

I need to find out more about the potential problems with the app, to see how to sort them out and ensure I can fix it (Trinus survival depends on this). Could you please get back to me answering the following questions?
You can do so by replying to this post or sending an e-mail to info@trinusvr.com. For the latter, you can send me your Skype username (with country) and your phone number to have a chat about those. I am interested on both successful cases and not so good ones (when something fails, or you are just able to play for a short while).

Your collaboration is much appreciated 🙂

    – What head mount do you use (i.e. Google Cardboard or better alternative)?
    – Do you use Trinus to play games or for other stuff?
    – Did you find Trinus difficult to set up?
    – What are the main issues you have encountered?
    – Is current performance good enough to enjoy it so far?
    – Do you feel comfortable playing for long periods?
    – How long do you play with Trinus on average?
    – Are you using USB, Wifi via router (if so, is PC wired to router or via Wifi as well) or Direct Wifi (trinus hotspot)?
    – What are your thoughts on Trinus, in general?

    – What head mount do you use (i.e. Google Cardboard or better alternative)?
A: Google Cardboard, Version Ritech 3D II
    – Do you use Trinus to play games or for other stuff?
A: Games of course, it’s definitly prior.
    – Did you find Trinus difficult to set up?
A: Not really, it is time consuming to find the perfect Screen Settings, and you are never sure if its perfect. Sometime it seems, that every Game has its own “better” settings.
    – What are the main issues you have encountered?
A: The Wifi Connection is Bad and playing with USB plugged sucks. I know there isn’t much we can do (although WiFi 5GHZ should be enough). Anyway
    – Is current performance good enough to enjoy it so far?
A: Well on USB its ok. We know it’s not Bugfree so we also had Crashes and freezes, especially on WiFi.
    – Do you feel comfortable playing for long periods?
A: Every Person is different. And Every Game is also different. Like everyone uses individual Hardware also. So It depends on these things and also on settings, if they are good or bad.
    – How long do you play with Trinus on average?
A: I can play an Hour or two, but that would be my maximum.
    – Are you using USB, Wifi via router (if so, is PC wired to router or via Wifi as well) or Direct Wifi (trinus hotspot)?
A: WiFi, i use my generic router, and the connection is not that bad, but cause of latencies, the quality of gaming is not as good as with USB. The other way USB plugged in is bad, and it is not possible to plug an USB with all Cardboards. So i would recommend focusing on optimizing on WiFi. (We have 5ghz and Xbox One Streaming already, i don’t think that it is really that bad)
    – What are your thoughts on Trinus, in general?
A: I like the idea and the intention behind this. It is definitly a genious act. It has really potential. If Advertising and software fits, you may get a big fanbase on this. And with a big fanbase, you can do bigger things.

    That’s my 2cents.

    – What head mount do you use (i.e. Google Cardboard or better alternative)?
    Homido

    – Do you use Trinus to play games or for other stuff?
Both, Trinus is the most reliable and consistent VR app I’ve found

    – Did you find Trinus difficult to set up?
Not terribly. The fact that all the help is built into the app is great, no running around Googling terms

    – What are the main issues you have encountered?
I’ve had a few issues, such as the pointer being offset (posted a bug report in troubleshooting), zoom and scale not making picture small enough on huge LG G3 screen (posted a suggestion in general), and now lens correction causing a blank screen since the Android app was updated (posted a bug report in troubleshooting)

    – Is current performance good enough to enjoy it so far?
Yes! It’s awesome! Elite Dangerous is amazing with this

    – Do you feel comfortable playing for long periods?
    Yes

    – How long do you play with Trinus on average?
An hour or two at a time

    – Are you using USB, Wifi via router (if so, is PC wired to router or via Wifi as well) or Direct Wifi (trinus hotspot)?
    USB tethering with Android phone

    – What are your thoughts on Trinus, in general?
I wish it were open source, it’s a really exciting app and I can barely wait to see the problems I’ve been having solved. I’d stay up all night trying to fix it myself if I could!

    – What head mount do you use (i.e. Google Cardboard or better alternative)?
    Homido

    – Do you use Trinus to play games or for other stuff?
Games, not sure what else you can use it for that you can’t do with just a phone.

    – Did you find Trinus difficult to set up?
No, at least not Trinus itself. I’ve had much more problems getting Moonlight to work and forcing games into stereoscopic mode.

    – What are the main issues you have encountered?
Sometimes when I establish connection mouse pointer starts rapidly jumping back and forth between two positions that move together, even if phone lies completely still. The only way to fix that seems to be rebooting the phone and connecting again. Before I started using Moonlight for streaming, Trinus would sometimes have problems with switching to a window on a different monitor.

    – Is current performance good enough to enjoy it so far?
Yes, for games that do not require fast reactions at least.

    – Do you feel comfortable playing for long periods?
Yes. Long periods are not the problem, it gets uncomfortable when things move fast or camera turns rapidly in game. Not sure if it’s just the way I react to these things in vr or it’s because of video quality dropping to stream larger changes.

    – How long do you play with Trinus on average?
Never timed it, but about 1-2 hours, I think.

    – Are you using USB, Wifi via router (if so, is PC wired to router or via Wifi as well) or Direct Wifi (trinus hotspot)?
    USB.

    – What are your thoughts on Trinus, in general?
It’s great, never expected it to work so well before I tried it. There are some problems with head tracking (mainly lag), but I don’t know if it could be done better, considering phones are not exactly made with that in mind.

-What head mount do you use :ColorCross

-Do you use Trinus to play games or for other stuff: other stuffs like a project

-Did you find Trinus difficult to set up? Not really, it’s pretty easy to use, but i guess there is a lack of options when we are using the computer, for instance,I’d like to copy the game screen to device while i’m using facebook or other thing i’m my pc, so i’d like that the devide worked as a secundary monitor.

-What are the main issues you have encountered? The question above answer that.

-Is current performance good enough to enjoy it so far? Yes.

    – Do you feel comfortable playing for long periods? Yes, i did’nt see any problem using for a long time.

    – How long do you play with Trinus on average? It depends, as I use for project an avarage one hour and half.

    – Are you using USB, Wifi via router? Wifi, It’s too unconfortable use the cable, because it’s no longer as I need

    – What are your thoughts on Trinus, in general? This is the app that I really need, because the others don’t have the effects that I need, as fisheye, or are no faster as it is.

    – What head mount do you use (i.e. Google Cardboard or better alternative)?
i’m using an AFUNTA Creative 3D VR from amazon, with a magnet mod, so i have a magnet switch for cardboard apps. and soon it will have cooler as well, as its thermal sollution is very bad(only when charging, or playing demanding games)

    – Do you use Trinus to play games or for other stuff?
i’m beginning to, i’m trying out different games, and settings to find the optimal settings for my system.

    – Did you find Trinus difficult to set up?
not particularly, but someone with little knowledge about it, might find it a bit difficult at first.

    – What are the main issues you have encountered?
latency and frame rate. latency can get quite high, if settings used are high enough, and framerate also takes a drop if settings are too high. but i can get it to work just fine.

    – Is current performance good enough to enjoy it so far?
that is a tough one to answer, considering its a matter of opinion and geeks(like me) might go to deep into it, but for my setup, it seems good. it could possibly get better, but that’s up to you(the dev) to do.(i have no clue how)

    – Do you feel comfortable playing for long periods?
not really, but it’s mostly due to my headmount not fitting on my nose, so it starts to hurt after about 2 hours of playing, but a quick 15 minute break fixes that.

    – How long do you play with Trinus on average?
not much so far, playing with some vr settings and a few of my games to find optimal settings for me, and possible ways to increase performance(looking into reverse tethering, to see if it makes a difference)

    – Are you using USB, Wifi via router (if so, is PC wired to router or via Wifi as well) or Direct Wifi (trinus hotspot)?
i’m using usb for now, but i’m planning on trying all the different modes, to see if i can get usb performance using wireless alternatives.

    – What are your thoughts on Trinus, in general?
its awesome beyond words. it makes it possible to use almost any smartphone as a vr solution, instead of spending X amount of money on a professional solution.

Hi, I’ve recently started to use trinus, for three days or so.

    – What head mount do you use (i.e. Google Cardboard or better alternative)?
Google Card board with android smartphone.

    – Do you use Trinus to play games or for other stuff?
Using as a head mount display to operate PC for work in a bed, when my health condition is not so good to get up.

    – Did you find Trinus difficult to set up?
Rather difficult because documentation is less than I expected.
    Especially, Adjust-Lens has little documents.

    – What are the main issues you have encountered?
    – I cannot find out how to setup the trinusVRserver to capture always whole display but not focusing on a main window. Currently, I set up Capture as “Compatible” mode.
    – I want to place PC display on a ceiling to see it when I lie in a bed facing upwards.

    – Is current performance good enough to enjoy it so far?
    Very Good.

    – Do you feel comfortable playing for long periods?
Feel rather uncomfortable for long play.
Card board sometimes makes small pain on my forehead and the eyes get dry.

    – How long do you play with Trinus on average?
1-2hours. If it is more comfortable, I want to use it 8 hours for my work.

    – Are you using USB, Wifi via router (if so, is PC wired to router or via Wifi as well) or Direct Wifi (trinus hotspot)?
WiFi via router, PC is also connected via WiFi.

    – What are your thoughts on Trinus, in general?
    Excellent!

Thank you very much about so nice product.
